How to learn to type on an ergonomic keyboard? I am not seeing the speed increase?

3. It took me about 3 weeks to get up to my "normal" typing speed. I've been typing for greater than 40 years and I type about 80 words a minute on a good day. I will admit this is slower than I used to type - but I'm old an have carpal tunnel. Now, if I get on a normal keyboard, I find myself typing in some foreign tongue and getting hand cramps. Hang in there. It's better for your hands and arms in the long run.
