Ergonomic Keyboard - Vertical Split?

I'm using a standard keyboard and my hands, especially wrists, hurt. I started looking for an ergonomic keyboard and found SafeType's Vertical Split keyboard. Has anyone tried it? Is it better than a horizontal split keyboard (like a regular ergonomic one)? Has anyone moved to an ergonomic keyboard and liked it or disliked it?

1. Its really weird at first b/c ur not used to it and it might be too big. try buying wrist brackets, i think thats what they are called im not sure
