Why would an ergonomic computer keyboard be better than a normal computer keyboard?

1. If you have problems with your wrists, then you might want to try this. Listen to your typing teacher.. "wrists up". Personally, I don't care for the split layout. But it would be a matter of using it and getting used to it. Good luck
2. I was given one, I liked it, my wife and kids didn't, so I got rid of it. I didn't feel any benefit. I think if you spend lots of time typing it must help since your wrist are in a proper orientation. Get one, it's your money, if you don't like it, take it back. Cheers

They also usually feature many shortcut keys, so that you dont have to type as much and stress yourself out. They are shaped and made to give your body a more healthy stance while using. Verses using a typical keyboard. However many people do not use them because of the way they are shaped.
